Newsletter | November 2020

It is hard to believe that we are already in November and what a year it has been! I’m sure no one anticipated that 2020 would look quite like it has, and while as a nation compared to the rest of the world we are doing well, it’s been a tough year in many ways.

Now more than ever there is a need to focus on movement and wellness. Lockdown showed us that it didn’t matter what we did or where we did it, but that movement, mindfulness practices and social connections were the key to staying positive and healthy. Which is why we thought that we would make our next studio challenge multidimensional – so that Every Body can take part!

Let’s get moving & grooving.

Here’s how it will work.

STEP 1. Grab your copy of our moving and grooving suggestions and stick it up somewhere where it will remind you to move and groove.

STEP 2. If you haven’t already, write your name on the Challenge whiteboard at the studio. Now you are officially part of the challenge!

STEP 3. Keep a track of what you are doing. Every time you come to the studio add a “sticker’ next to your name, red for YFTP classes and green for anything you’ve done outside of the class.

STEP 4. Get moving & grooving!

At the end of the challenge, everyone who has done something every single day will go in the draw for some great prizes, which will be announced at our annual studio Get Together.

Giving something back.

As always, our November challenge is about getting Every Body involved and raising money for worthy charities. For everyone that completes all 30 days of the challenge, we will donate $30 to a charity (which we will vote on at the studio Get Together). What better motivation than that – to keep you going. So don’t delay start moving & grooving today!

New kid on the block!

After much deliberation and thought, we have finally decided on a new name for the popular Friday night 6pm class… drum roll please!!!!

From November the Tight Ass Friday class will be known as … Happy hour (& a half). Still priced at $10 p/person, it’s all the fun & sweat for less than half the price of a regular class.

If you haven’t joined us for this class, come and give it a go. It’s a great way to kick off the weekend.. or just wind down from the week! Or, perhaps you are looking for a unique first date idea???

Gift vouchers.

Don’t shoot the messenger, but Christmas is just around the corner, and if you are anything like some of the teachers, we like to plan early. If you are struggling to find something for someone that has everything, why not consider a Yoga for the People Gift Voucher. These can be redeemed for classes, and is a great way to introduce someone to yoga. And all our onsite therapists have vouchers too!

Save the date!

As mentioned above, we will be celebrating the end of the challenge (and the end of 2020) on Saturday 5th December – after the 4pm class. Keep a lookout on Facebook and at the Studio for all of the details.

That’s it for now everyone, we look forward to seeing everyone’s progress with the challenge throughout the month.
